Why does Hizbollah need veto power in Lebanon?

Because the Lebanese constitution requires each major religious faction to be proportionately represented in Parliament, and as Hezbollah represent the majority of Lebanese Shia's, and Shia's are the predominant group in Lebanon they need to have a Vetoing power
