Here is a free program that I use. http://www.emisosft.com Download their free version. Company is out of Austria. You will be protected from hijackers, rogue dialers, malware, adware, spyware, etc. etc. Scan all 273,000 object in my system.
Another good free antispyware program that is excellent as it will usually catch what all others miss in spyware.
