Yes. The novelty of the new control style will wear off in the next few months leaving gamers with a now awkward controller to play games. Everything else about the console can be classified as "last generation" hardware.
No HD disk format, graphics, or sound. No DVD playback. No Internet browsing (PS3 only right now, but I expect Microsoft will release a download for the 360 soon).
By utilizing their new control type, Nintendo has got people to wait in line and pay 250+ for a last gen gaming system, genius on their part.

First of all they screwed themselves royally because if people can't buy the system the stores aren't selling the games & accessories...other than that nothing (other than the cure for cancer) is worth waiting in line for and having these companies make a fool out of us just isn't right. Why do they wait until Xmas to release this stuff anyway? Like they didn't know there would be a shortage! I also think that this system will have it's share of problems down the line - it seems very delicate.

I think all the gaming systems are over rated....who in their right mind would pay over $700.00 for something when all you have to do is wait a week and get it for the normal price....DUH!! And we wonder why our society is in poverty!!
