Yes!! I did stay home for much of my daughter's youngest years but she's 15 now. Since my jobs were always term positions I could work for awhile and then get layed off and collent employment insurance for awhile Then I got another term when I needed it and thus kept the cycle going. While unemployed I was able to take my daughter to many things including two mornings a week at the library for story/craft time. During times of employment (before my daughter started school) she would spend a week a month at my parents place and a week at her father's. The other two weeks spent the days at a babysitter's (with several other kids). So she had the best of many worlds. Today she is a very sociable young lady.

I am the stay at home type right now. Sometimes I feel like I just have to get out. But I have the option to do so. When you're in an office building or a specific job and you hav that feeling, you're kind of stuck there. If you have the opportunity to work from home - take it.

I am the stay at home type, and I love it!!
It's so much easier for me to be around home with 3 kids in school. I always have a conference for one of them, or doctor appointments and the like. It'd be so hard to have to work a regular job and do all that for them...there's just not enough hours in the day.

I am a stay at home type and I love it, although I sometimes think I should do something outside the home (part time job or a volunteer position) so my life isn't all about housework and children. I love being home but sometimes it makes me kind of stir crazy and need other adults to talk with....

I love staying at home. I'm able to be here for my family. I hated it when my son had something at school or a ball game and I had to go to work and make sure that I could get off. It was the type of job where if you weren't the first to ask off you didn't get off. If not that then you had to find someone to switch shifts with you and if you were lucky enough to find someone to switch with you, you then had that " you owe me one" favor hanging over your head. But now I make my own schedule and I wouldn't trade it for anything because I am ALWAYS here for my family.

For the most part, I already am. But if I could be a stay at home mom, I'd do it. I don't have much self-motivation though....but I've always been a homebody and that's where I feel most comfortable.

If I had the chance,
I would be the "stay at home" type
that does free lance photography,
and goes to the gym everyday.
Yep...I sure would...lol

No I love traveling or going out, when I stay at home I tend to gain weight and feel useless and depress... but if my husband allowed me to stay at home in regards to working I would because I love to shop and do creative things.. ..

Yes!
I can see myself taming the kids, catching up with the ironing and laundry, tidying up the garden and cook!
Except that I don't really do the things mentioned above well!
Ha3!
But given the chance, yes, I will be a housewife/stay-at-home mummy!
