I was talking with someone I know, and we were talking about how some people, even though they are married/committed, they feel more lonely now than they did before.

Just curious as to how many others out there feel this way.

Well you know, that person is probably way too good for her hubby anyway, and should probably leave as soon as she is able.

I believe that all relationships have there ups and downs. If you would have asked me this question a couple of months ago, i would have agreed that i was extremely lonely, the only thing was i couldn't go out and find someone easily since i was married! But now i am satisfied, but i am sure it will happen again.

The first six years of my marriage were not happy one’s.
And that to me was the loneliest lonely.
I couldn’t talk to anyone, as they all wanted me to just leave him, which I didn’t want to do.
I couldn’t go anywhere as it wouldn’t be right for me, as a married women to go out every night without my husband.
He ignored and avoided me.

I never want that time back.
To me that was the loneliest lonely.

But today I praise God for He is true and faithful to His Word and restored my marriage.

But definitely the loneliest lonely is when you’re stuck in an unhappy marriage.

Okay, now to answer. Yes, I've been married going on 3yrs and I've been very lonely. In more ways then one. I've often times felt very alone even in a full room of people.

I went through this not long after our son was born. I was working full time, my wife was taking care of the baby, and I tried to make sure she had time to hang out with her friends... the result was I ended up with a lot of time alone without her. We fixed it, and everything is fine now though.
