Racism has gotten worse, its just hidden racism now with all the lawsuits out there people are trying to be overly cautious now especially in the work place. But on the other hand the new generation of children that are coming along are not having it. They want to get along with everyone, no matter if their parents are racist or not. They know that its not right to judge someone by the color of their skin.

You just cannot be serious! What do you think is what I would like to know? Racism isn't ever going away and hell yes it's gotten worse! And it going to get worse then what's going on now. Because we have a lot of ignorant, stupid @ssholes out here that just love to thrive on hating anything. And do you know why? Because they hate themselves! They're not happy, they're bitter and pitiful people that feel that if they're not happy why shouldn't they ruin someone else's day. Racists people are just plain pitiful! And I hope they all go to hell in a hand basket!

I think it has gotten better, however, there is a lot of hidden racism. I see it everyday at work. I think people are just not out in the open with it the way they used to be.

I definitely think it's gotten better, although we still have a lot of work to do as a society on being more accepting. If you look back at the last 30 or 40 years, we've done a lot of work towards racial equality. As I said before, we must continue to work at being more accepting of each others differences.

There was a time when no one would've batted an eye at what Michael Richards (Kramer) said in that nightclub. I'd have to say better, though the fact that he said it at all shows there's still work to be done.

Hard to say. If many are still racists, they know it's wrong so they don't verbalize it publicly. There are the others who don't care who they hurt and just shout ignorant slurs. Then there are those who are compassionate and know that the color of ones skin has nothing to do with what's inside.
