because he thinks I am underweight. It is not in my genes to be large and I think it is because his family thinks I am too skinny. They think I am sick or something, most of the women in his family are "bigger" than me. Do you know the average wieght for a woman 5'9? I have actually tried eating all the food he wants me to but I will gain a couple of pounds and then lose it right away. Right now I am at 149lbs. What should I do???? I have tried telling him it's not possible and he thinks that I am not trying.

5'9" at 149lbs sounds perfect. Tell him to just deal with it. If he still pushes...tell him that if he doesn't like you the way you are then there's tons of guys out there that will.

your husband should be convinced of that but you can try the following tips :
food diary for a couple of weeks to learn more about your eating habits.
Rather than struggling to eat a few really big meals, plan three regular meals plus two or three snacks.
If you tend to eat erratically, write down a regular meal plan and keep to it.
Make meals a little larger or more calorific. For example, have an extra slice of toast at breakfast; drink grape juice rather than orange juice; make coffee with milk; serve an extra spoon of mash, rice or pasta; be more generous with healthier unsaturated oils, salad dressing and spreads; always have a dessert.
Have snacks to hand so you never go short. Good choices include nuts, seeds and raisins; pots of rice pudding, custard or yoghurt; cereal or cereal bars; flapjacks; milk, yoghurt drinks or smoothies; a scone or fruit bun; wheatmeal biscuits; cheese and crackers; fruit plus small chocolate bar.

You sound like you are at a healthy weight. I'm 5'7" AND 135 pounds and not too skinny. It sounds like your husband is a control freak. He has no business telling you what to eat or what you should weigh. If he wants you to be fat and unhealthy like his family, it's probably because he feels insecure and wants you to be less attractive to the opposite sex. You should tell him you are happy like you are and that if he's not happy with you, he needs to figure out what he wants in a relationship. Maybe counseling would help him.

10 kilos isn't a lot of weight yet once you placed on basically fat then they possibly will given which you will look extra bloated. you could actual placed on 10 and look extra suitable than you probably did till now. here is how: * shrink back on aerobic because it will make you drop some pounds * Hit the gymnasium daily yet do muscule workouts...this won't "bulk you up" quite it is going to tone you and make you look plenty extra suitable than in case you do no muscule workouts. Use the two unfastened weights or nautalis whichever is available * Drink protien shakes and eat extra protien this might help upload extra muscule weight which weighs extra effective than fat does. The extra protien the extra suitable. in case you desire to any extent further help permit me know. My husband is a physique builder/own coach and that i certainly am lively accountability military so all of us know a splash approximately wellbeing ;)

The avg weight for a woman 5'9 is between 150 and 165 lbs....175 technically classifies you as overweight. You're fine, as long as you're eating healthy and taking care of yourself.

Personally I think he just likes chubbier women. You're at the right weight, but you'd probably be more "voluptuous" if you were a bit heavier. Just ask him this straight out.

I think you should just stay at your weight, you dont need to gain anymore weight for your husband or anyone else. Tell your husband to shut up.

Tell him to get a clue, your weight sounds proportionally equivalent to the woman I am engaged to. If he is taking a side, it needs to be yours.

If your husband refuses to accept you for the way you look, then split from him for a while and see how he deals with that... He obviously ain't listening, and actions speak louder than words!!!
