why do they wake up at like 6:00 in the moring just to be ready for school? why couldn't school start in the afternoon

The mind is freshest in the morning. The fresher the mind the better learning experience one will have. Nothing to think about and worry about if school starts in the morning! If it started in the afternoon... 1)hanging out with friends would be first and then the thought of skipping would be an even easier choice, 2)you would be asking why does school start in the afternoon and children have to stay at school so late (starting at noon school would end at 6 or 7 at night). I would definitely rather my child be at school in the morning when the sun is out than at night with no lighting, especially if my child had to walk home from school or the bus stop. Imagine the danger they would be in then!

During eygyptian times people adapted their life to the sun therefore they would work when the sun was at it coolest period. This would make them more energetic and be able to use more of their physical attributes during the day.

In the morning the brain functions much more faster then any other period. As children need to focus and attain a good understanding it is vital that they start school during the morning. In the afternoon the brain gradually looses small amount of activity and this is why during the night it needs to rest.

Overall The morning is a much better time frame as children are able to gain more knowledge as their brain grasp more information and they are able to pick up things more eaisly. Howver there are other reason as the day is divided into 3 parts the system of startting early allows them to have the rest of the day of. Therefore the system is laid out logically and helps children as they can do other activities. It also helps them prepare for the real world of work when they will need to wake up early and go tot work. This is then a habit and can be easy to do again and gain for work etc etc.

Could you imagine the electricity it would use up if the world went to school in the evening ... and then everyone would be complaining they were getting up to early because the whole day would be shifted and the evening would be morning...

Perhaps that if you went to bed at 4:00 and slept until 12:00 and then got up and did whatever until you decided to get ready for school at 6:00....................

in the adult world most jobs are during the day and you have to wake up early.
i know i used to hate waking up early to go to school, but now, i like getting things done during the day, so i have my evening free to live life!
