"How do you feel when a bunch of immigrants come to the U.S.?"
I feel sorry for them and wonder how bad things must have been in their native countries in order for them to want to live in the U.S. :)
As for immigrants and Christmas...most of the immigrants who come to the U.S. celebrate Christmas as part of their own tradition. They may have some variations, but so do people born in the States.
You know, some Americans are waaaayyyyy too hung up on creating a homogenous society, with everyone conforming to the exact same set of beliefs and ideas. Is it not blatently obvious how unhealthy that would be?
I celebrate Christmas as a Christian celebration. That's my tradition. But I don't insist that everyone else celebrate it as I do, or keep their celebrations to themselves.

You are a racist in how your question sounds combined with your user name, but I see a point - those who come here to live should accept local values and traditions. However, no one asks you to change anythiing, and no one wants the US to do so, so don't whine. You are not supposeD to do anything, but you should learrn your white language correctly - having been born in the US does not protect you from being an illiterate hick. Instead of ranting like that and being a white supremacist, I think you'd do yourself and others more of a favor by trying to explain the good and the beautiful in the local traditions rather than spit on immigrants and brag about being Caucasian like it's something inherently good. You know how many white idiots are out there? Really wanna be one of them?

I have no problems with people wanting to live in the US as long as they do it legally. They don't have to celebrate the same holidays as us but they also don't have to protest a Christmas light display in a town they probably don't even live in. And for our neighbors south of the border...DON'T F@*# WITH OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM!!. It was not written in mexican or spanish or whatever it was written in english. So learn it the way it was meant to be learned. As a soldier in the Army this kind of crap makes us want to vomit!!

the people causing the problem are US citizens and have been on the attack for years - we have immigration problems but most of them are CATHOLIC and celebrate Christmas with the rest of us
and your MERRY XMAS is part of the problem ( take it back ! ) i am not religious ( at all ) but it is a Christian holiday celebrating Christ - merry CHRISTmas to you ( and PLEASE - PEACE ON EARTH )

I know what you mean. If only the Pawtuxet and their allies had sunk the Mayflower, or at least sent them packing, we could have avoided all those problems brought by immigrants.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you. if the immigrants want to come here legally then fine for all our families came here at one time or another but they need to adapt to our ways or get the ------------------------------------- ( fill in the blank here ) out. for those who came here illegally we should round them up and send them back home where they came from without any benefits whatsoever.

I stopped caring ages ago.Besides, all the non-Native Americans did the same exact thing. I find it hilarious when people descended from immigrants whine about the exact same thing their own people did!

immigrants that have obeyed our laws to come here have a right to express their opinions.
illegal immigrants are common criminals that should not have any more rights than the geneva convention.
