With the reliese of the PS3, as well as the next launch whenever that is going to be, the 360 is bound to drop price, for the competition factor alone.

Yes. People from OXM contacted someone at Microsfot and trhey said yes one was coming, but they hadn't decided on when. They won't because 360 is currently at the top and Halo3 is coming out so they have no need to until PS3 or Wii catches up to them. But yes it is coming.

I highly doubt it--at least not right away. For the next year or so (at the very least) the price is probably going to remain the same, competition or not. I think the Wii is going to offer more competition than the PS3 ever will and its price is way too low for the Xbox 360 to drop to.

Probally not sorry... The fact is for both the next Gen consooles (XBox 360 and the PS3) the companies that make them lose money. Both machines are so High-Tech and ahead of thier time the companies spend more to make then to sell... They just plan to make money off the Games, which are 100% profit... so sorry prolly not

no it will not drop till after christmas and only by about $50 at the most so don't expect it cheap for x-mas plus PS3 as so many bugs in it its worthless to buy it now unless you immediately sell it on ebay for sum extra cash

I really don't see the price dropping for at least another year. But hey anything could happen.

Wait until after Christmas. I think it will hang around the $400 range for a while in the new year.
