I always hated to sped time away from my partner. I guess I am the jealous type--it would be a big deal for me and I would be upset that he did not arrange to go with the girlsfriends together..would be much more fun

You are the person that knows him best. If he has never given you any reason to doubt him before then I would say no. Besides if you don't let him go he will hold it against you, and later when you want to go somewhere with just the girls he will be able to say oh no, I didn't get to go on the ski trip. If you let him go then he will owe it to you to let you go at a later date.

Time apart is usually good for a relationship. He will miss you and appreciate you more when he returns. I don't see any reason for concern unless he has a history of cheating on you when he goes off without you. Of course if that is the case, he should be your ex-boyfriend, right? Find something fun to do with your friends, and wait and do it when he is in town so be will have another opportunity to miss you.

I wouldn't be concerned unless he has cheated on you before. Otherwise, don't make a big deal out of it. Tell him to go and have a good time. It's the perfect opportunity for you to have some alone time or do something special with the girls!
