Probably not so much. Technology makes problems easier to handle but makes us complacent at the same time. We rely on it too much.

The next generation can't even handle their personal problems much less those of the world. The bad thing is that it's usually not their fault that they are so ill prepared. Parents and schools are so determined to protect at any cost that kids don't learn as much about the real world as they should.
