Hi...i'm a college student and I LOVE wearing pantyhose or stockings to make an outfit or if I want my shoes to feel more comfortable. One of the biggest reasons I wear knee highs is because they make my shoes more comfortable and I never get calluses when I wear high heels with knee highs...am I the only one that feels this way?

Nylons, and I am going to use that term to cover from knee-his to pantyhose, help make legs look better. Let's just face that fact.
Nylons also make it more comfortable while wearing shoes from flats to heels. There is nothing more gross than sweating in your shoes, yuk.
Nylons can enhance you outfit with the various shades that are out there which, let's face it, can make you more attractive. In a lot of jobs, nylons are preferred and almost mandated for women showing leg because of professionalism.
Which to wear all depends on what you are wearing that day. Certainly you can wear pantyhose with everything, even slacks. Stockings, with dresses and skirts where the hem does not go to the top on the stockings, and of course knee highs with slacks.
A lot of women prefer not to wear pantyhose for they can be a bother at times to put on and they can be a trifle warm in the summer. But I think there is a slow movement for them to come back as materials have improved over the past few years.
As far as in or out, I most definitely say in. Especially pantyhose. Luv to wear them.

Personally I think that yo can wear knee highs but don't let them be known your wearing them for example if your wearing a long skirt with knee highs and you have a slit in the back and the knee highs show that is such a fashion killer...go the distance and wear thigh highs, stockings or pantyhose instead.

Stockings with a garter belt or thigh highs are in. Pantyhose and knee highs are for old ladies, and really have no business in college unless you are wearing sheer to waist pantyhose under a micro mini or hot pants. Knee highs have no redeeming features and leave nasty creases in your legs.
Sheer stockings with a garter belt are by far the classiest and sexiest, with thigh highs right behind, but they aren't as sheer as real stockings, and don't have the sexiness of the garter belt. they also tend to fall down sometimes, or also leave nasty marks on your thighs, but they look sexier than bare legs, and art as horrible as pantyhose. the tops of pantyhose are just so ugly, and cover up your underwear, plus you have to pull down all the time to pee or have sex Stockings stay put for both.

Hi... i guess living in a warm weather climate like I do makes the rules different. I never, ever wear pantyhose or stocking.. cause i usually am in sandals or open toed, open backed shoes. Sometimes when i go clubbing. i might use the kneesocks look with a mini and open backed shoes or sometimes even with skimmer type sneakers.

When women decided to start dressing sloppily and thinking dime store flip flops were fashionable, they stopped wearing them.
I am not a believer in what's in or out. I like to wear what looks good on me, and this girls legs are never bare, nor her feet in flip flops unless on the beach.
If you look around, legwear (pantyhose, tights, leggings) of many styles, colors, and patterns are slowly showing up again. Fashion is a circle, whats out is in sooner or later. That's why I don't bother to follow it.
Pantyhose are comfortable, make my legs look great, so I wear them every day. And compared to my friends, my legs get a lot more attention, so no matter what they say, given mens reactions, pantyhose have never been 'out' just forgotten. Too bad.

I don’t think you’re alone. We have two merchants that carry almost any kind of hosiery you could want at http://www.buddyandoscars.com/clothing_lingerie_1.htm and we have a lot of customers for their products, especially ones looking for something a little more upscale than what they can usually find at places like Wal Mart.
Stockings sell good at our other lingerie and underwear merchants that carry it as well.
