Use them for the greater good

I would test my "super powers" out if I suddenly discovered that I had them.

I'd retrieve one of the lunar landing modules from the Moon and take it back to NASA, but I'd do this secretly, so the media would not find out. I'd offer them a deal: I'd lift their satellites etc., into orbit for one half of what it would normally cost them. (at hundreds of millions per launch, I think I could live comfortably on that.) They would provide me with a security staff, and protect my family, and not let any other governmental agency know about me. It would be like the witness protection program, only with wealth and servants.

[And if you think that wouldn't be 'heroic' enough, if NASA was concerned about war, crime, disease, natural disasters, poverty, education, they wouldn't be throwing money into space, so why should I be concerned either?]

I'd like to have the power to be invisible...first I'd clean out all the banks then divide the meony equally between poor countries and myself!
Or I wouldn't mind having mind control...I'd make Tony Blair and Dubya apologies for their parts in the Iraq War!

I'd probably take horrible advantage of them for the first few months. You know...use it to make money, or get away with something I've always wanted to do. Kind of like Hiro on Heroes when he used his powers to stop time to make money at the casino. I'd totally abuse my powers for a while. Then I'd probably use it to get revenge on the people who have wronged me, at the same time doing a Robin Hood to help people who are less fortunate.

Well it would depend on the superpowers. First though I'd probably freak out a little. If the powers were useful (and I use the term lightly) I'd probably learn how to use them and if they were ubersmart i'd probably create a costume and become a "superheroine" and help others.

Of course I'd also use them for person gain. But who wouldn't!! Really????

I'd freak out... feel like a freak, and try to hide the super power... then I might go to see the doctor or a shrink... that'd happen before I could even begin to think about using them... I mean, come on, I'd need time to adjust, and then I'd think about what the best thing to use them for would be...

1. Make a costume and name to protect my identity

2. Take out as many drug lords and illegal drug operations as I can, take all their money, and use it to take care of my family, then donate the rest to charities.

3. Then begin my crusade to bring back the old values, that so many people either don't believe in or don't use anymore - Truth, Honor, Loyalty, Honesty, and JUSTICE.

And if anyone tries to market anything without my express written permission....

I wipe them off the face of the planet.
