He should indeed be awarded the nobel prize for peace.
No one before him has has the strength of character and the will to hold true in the face of adversity.
He is being savaged by the ignorant , misinformed , traitor , liberal left(like the ones who answered above--mindles sheep, quoting cliches).
yet still, he knows that job he has to do, a job that is affecting his political standing, meaning he cares more about western democracy and the installation of democracy in backward murderous regimes, than in his own career and his legacy.
Unlike tony blair who cares only about his career and legacy and couldnt point to iraq on a map.

We wont change the mind of the blinkered left liberals , because there argument only runs to a couple of insults before they become baffled.

Why don't we give the administration that bring BEN LADIN in the peace prize against terrorism. So far it's been neither the Clinton or Bush Administration had done that job.

Obviously he wont...because of the amount of folk that disagree with how he's going about it. Yeh the fight against terrorism should go on and every culture and nation should join in....but it doesnt mean if we dont all eat off china plates we should be murdered.

You folks follow each other around like little mindless clones of each other.

There is absolutely nothing nobel about the Nobel Peace Prize.

"The once-renowned Nobel Peace Prize has lost much of its lustre in the public eye by the committee’s increasingly transparent desire to make the prize an extension of its left-wing politics. From rewarding outright Communists and terrorists, to failed American presidents, to the possibility that Jacques Chirac will be honored for his "heroic" efforts to defy Iraqi liberation, the prize has come to be seen as what it truly is: an annual political reward to the Left's most visible stalwarts." -By Jeff Chidester

Perhaps you should do a bit of research for what the Noble Peace Prize stands for these days.

You're kidding, right? The deceit, the bungling, the very fact that it was Osama bin Laden, not Saddam Hussein, that was responsible for 9/11, and bin Laden still hasn't been caught and brought to justice? The fact that Iraq is now in worse condition than it was before the occupation, thousands of lives (many of them innocent) have been sacrificed on both sides, and is now becoming a haven for anti-US terrorists simply because of the way the US gov't has screwed things up..

why is that deserving of an honor?

Well, at least he has taken some action. You can bet, that the lefty/liberals and the UN would still be talking about what NOT to do. Inertia incorporated.

Why not, if they can give it to Henry Kissinger they can give it to anyone. They usually give it to mass murderers anyway. I also think there's money attached to this prize, something like £200,000 or something.
