I know my partner would agree with you there!

I prefer things like Neon Genesis Evangelion. but was let down at the end because of a lack of funds. But I prefer more realistic human people and good graphics in my manga. A good storyline is also a must.

DBZ lacks in a clean storyline and always has the little side parts and with the ever increasing powers of Goku and co. its turning into digimon almost with the supermegahyper and supermegahypergiga malarkey. But other than that its pretty good.

Absolutely Superb...Nothing like sitting thru a whole saga on a hungover sunday (they use to show a whole days worth somedays on Toonami) GT was a bit naff though..

nope. the storyline became kind of dragged along (with understandable reasons though, since it ran in parallel time with the manga), the filler episodes were unbearable. even if it is probably the most popular anime of all time.
don't get me wrong, the manga was fabulous (my first love). the overall plot was entertaining (for me, at least). too bad the anime didn't really do it justice.

man it looks like it's a forever story, I have watched it more than 20 years ago when i was a kid in China. that's when the the main Character was a kid too. and eventually it developed to his two sons then his grandkid (i don't know boy or girl coz i am already tired of the long story)
wondering if there's great-grandkids

Yes, DBZ is one of the best animation series ever and naruto is followed at the 2nd. DBZ shows alot of different personalities of each character and they really made it look so hard to convey each information through their power and strength. My favourite character in DBZ is vegeta, he's the one that made me want to see DBZ :p

I wouldn't say that. Its definatly up there. Heres my problem. One can't compare Japanese anmation to American.Yes Dragon Ball z was great, but its not fair to compare it to Captian pLANET.
