The spelling sari is wrong. It should be saree.

Coming to your question: It is possible to buy genuine saree outside India. Now-a-days it is possible since saree is famous outside India. Also, Indian population is spread all over this World in almost all countries you can find an Indian.

You have to go to a foreign goods shop inside the airport or go to any famous textile show rooms.

Yes it is possible, just look in your local phone book for Indian clothing stores.

Or if you wish to have one custom made from India with a wider choice and cheaper price range look on the internet at:

http://www.ebay.com.au

http://www.ebay.in

Check the sellers ratings etc first and select your chosen material then bid, after you win you pay and send your measurements. Iv'e ordered a few for fun and they were stunning, well made and inexpensive.

My advice is spend time looking at different shops & if it is to cheap it is probably fake. Kinda different experience but my boyfriend went into the first place to get a custom made suit and it turned out to be pretty poor qualit
