i was watching it last night and fell asleep when simba and his dad were going to this canyon place. im hoping they become good friends and live peacefully

Well I can tell you that it doesn't happen that way. Scar kills Mufasa, Simba runs away. Befriends a meerkat, Timon, and a warthog, Pumba. Scar, who is in cahoots with the hyenas, then takes over pride rock. Simba comes back and reclaims his rightful throne. That's pretty much it in a nutshell.

Simba becomes King and Him and Nala watch Rafiki present Simba's offspring. another future king.

the lion king ends with simba taking over pride rock as the next king, he and nala have a cub and they lived happily ever after.
also, there is a lion king 2: simba's pride and his daughter's name is kiera (hopefully i spelled it right).

At the end, the credits roll, and you find out who voiced what character, who directed and that kind of stuff.
