A couple of my freinds who have listened to FOX news faithfully have now feel disillusioned. All I could tell them is that FOX is just one source of news-and although they have a right wing agenda-they do need to be listened to-not just exclusively. Oh yea I know people are gonna say CNN is left wing-but in the case of giving the public an accurate account of the Iraq war they have been more honest with the public-the public wants the truth. The Flags on the caskets-you wouldn't see that on FOX-but I am a Vietnam Veteran-War is a terrible thing. This war should be in our living rooms-it is not about someone elses kids-Americas best kids are dying over there-has it been worth it?

Fox News is owned and directed by Rupert Murdoch. He does not necessarily directed ideology at all of his media holdings, but has from day one had a firm grip on not only all viewpoints expressed but what news items will be covered. Murdoch has a long history of supporting wars. This goes back to the Vietnam era but includes the British invasion of The Falkland Islands, the U.S. overthrow of the Sandinistas in Nicaragua, explicit support for many of the fascistic governments of Latin America including that of Pinochet in Chile. Fox News takes the position that objective reportage is left-wing. Fox News also takes the position not unlike that of the Bush White House that dissent is treasonous, both positions that are essentially against democracy and free speech. Then again, Murdoch like Berlusconi in Italy feel that if one can own the media you can own the hearts and minds of the populace. Media giants like this look at most people as pawns that are easily manipulated.

Because Fox news is nothing but a mouth piece for the Bush administration. Sure they spew this fair and balanced crapola, but if you pay attention to whats really going on there about as fair and balanced as Hitler. Believe me, if the GOP had there way, Fox would be the only news channel available throughout America. Thank God there not.

Every war of aggression is a bad thing, not only when many American troops die. I mention this, because there are some who regard Penis Clinton as a "good president" (because not so many American troops died in his wars of aggression, because the American economy was booming under his leadership, or because of other reasons of this kind and this level). Fox news journalists are in favor of this war, and therefore they present things as they want to see them.

Unfortunately we are all at the mercy of the "Spin Doctor's" this includes the news channels as well. It's all in who and how you ask. "Good Politicians" unfortunately are running the Country not true representatives of the constituancies they represent. They will always put their best face forward unless they get caught.
