One thing I can say for myself is that I will ALWAYS give an honest answer - you might think me rude, inpolitically correct, sarcastic, or whatnot - but I am always honest.
Sometimes if someone asks a question that is just downright stupid, I will give an extremely sarcastic answer, or not bother answering it at all, it depends on my mood. And some questions are just so funny that I can't help but laugh while I'm answering them.
But the main reason I am even here on Y!A is that there are people out there in the world who are asking questions and seeking honest answers. So I do my best to give each and every question that seems honest my best and most honest answers. And if I don't know the answer to the question, I won't answer it - if I know a little bit of the answer, I'll tell them that and try to direct them to someone or someplace where they might find more information.

Depends.
When then question is asked in pure fun and the asker clearly doesn't care about truth, I may make up some B.S. for laughs, but it will be obvious. When an honest question is posted, seeking real responses, I'm going to be truthful.

Always honest. Some of these questions are so "out of this world". You stop and think where do people get these thoughts.

I'm always just me; I answer questions based on what is being asked and I am always honest, yes.

honest to a point, but not giving away anything too private. If I have to give out personal information I don't answer the question.

If the questioner is being facetious, then I answer accordingly. If they are looking for a serious, honest answer, then I follow their lead. The challenge lies in differentiating the two extremes.

Yes, I don't like to give the idea that I am something that I am not, and being honest is something that I am, so all my answers are true.
