I once was held with a knife to my neck as the apartment in New York City in which I was visiting was robbed. I really did think I was going to be killed.
I was also gang raped when I was 13, but I never thought they would kill me. Part of the time I wished they would, but I was not afraid I was going to die, only that my life would be ruined.

When my son was about a year and a half old, we were eating chicken in a restaurant. The chicken came with a stuffing that was made with some chopped-up pieces of the chicken. I cut up some of the chicken into really small bites for him to eat, and then put a spoonful of the stuffing on his plate. What I didn't realize, was that one of the chicken bones had fallen into the stuffing, and he choked on it. The scare just about killed me. Thank God he's OK, though.

I once was in a restaurant and it got robbed... I was 2 inches away from the guy pulling the gun...
But yesterday I had the scare of my life... I was downstairs... my son was playing on the balcony and suddenly I heard a loud thud! I thought he fell from the balcony to the ground... My heart stood still... Luckily he was just playing and the heavy broom I scrub the tiles with fell from the balcony... It was just the broom thank God!!
