I have been advised by a friend who had the same problem, squeaky noise when clutch pedal pushed down, but stops as soon as it is released, that the clutch cylinder has probably gone. Any idea how much it will cost to have it fixed in South of England?

I have just had mine done and it will proble cost you a good £200/£300 but from ford it will come to a lot more but good luck my friend and i hope this helps a bit

it takes about 6 hours to do @ £ 50 an hour and the price of the cylinder £ 50 you will be well advised to replace the clutch as well @£ 140 total cost £490 + vat hope this helps
