My top ten movies would not have any hollywood in them.

The best movie I've seen to date is Salaam Bombay by Mira Nair. That is the only movie that made me cry. It is in Hindi.

I am also a big fan of Kieselowski movies

The best movie i have seen is The Notebook. I cry everytime i watch it, it is my favorite because i think everyone dreams of having a love as strong as the one they do that will last beyond eternity.

It's a tie between Rainman and Sixth Sense. I had to go back and see Sixth Sense again to watch for the parts I missed that gave away the fact that Bruce Willis' character was dead, it was that well done. Rainman was great when Charley -Tom Cruise - realized that he was leading a selfish, spoiled life while his brother Raymond had been institutionalized to protect him when he was a baby. Incredible transformation of a selfish character and Hoffman won a well deserved Oscar as well.

I really, really, really love Pirates of the Carribean. Both. I love everything about them. The screenplay, acting, story/plot line. They did a wonderful job. And they're suspenseful yet humorous at the same time.

Great Movies

The Ghost and Mrs Muir.... The gentlest of films with a sharp witted undertone, with characters so sharp they could cut through the screen.... A real old Sunday afternoon film.
