why do people feel the need to cut the top of there sons penis, its there for a reason, i cant understand this, most men wish it never happend to them, i really wish i still had mine, what makes perents think thay can make desitions like this, whats the point, and let me tell you something, who gives a dam what women preffer, parents if youre listerning, DONT CHOP THE TOP, he will never forgive you, ,,,,,,,,having said all this what do you think on the matter.

it is chopped of for some medical reason or another... at least in my country. it is not something that parents do for nothing or to make women like their sons more!
believe me, if that were the reason i am sure parents would leave their sons pENi* alone so no woman could touch their son!

I think you are right.
Imposing your religion on your children without giving them the opportunity to develop their own ideas and decide for themselves is already wrong. Mutilating them without their informed consent is even worse.
Circumsition is mutilation, even if it's nothing more than a bit of skin.
I cannot understand why it's still socially accepted.

Some people do it for religious reasons. Some do it for hygenic reasons. I have taken care of fellas (in the health profession) who have not been circumcised and they have all sorts of crud in the foreskin area. If someone is not circumcised please clean in that area to prevent infections. Other than that, I guess it's just a societal norm.

They are not chopping the "top", only the excess skin surrounding it. It's pretty much a health issue in regards to cleanliness.
