Sigh..was at the disgrace of a Lions game yesterday...our receiver's cant hold onto a ball , we couldnt use a running game againt the Viking's defense...and our defense isnt aggressive at all...Kitna threw for 294 yards..waaaay more than goldenboy Brady's 78 or the all-mighty Michael Vick's 155...I mean Harrington threw for 190 and Garcia 180, yet their teams WON yesterday...hmmm maybe it's not the QB at fault for the Lions' 2-11 record...any thoughts?

Of course we can stop blamming just Kitna....When the Lions stink it up week after week, its always a team effort! Everyone contributes with their will to loose and look bad doing it.

Wow. This must be Jon's family all posting on the same question.

Let's see here....Jon Kitna leads the league with 26 turnovers. That might have a liiitttllllee to do with the dismal record, no?

When the Lions have a shot to win it in the 4th quarter, you can almost ben Jonny boy holds onto the ball too long and either fumbles or throws a stupid lame pass right to a defender.

"Kitna threw for 294 yards..waaaay more than goldenboy Brady's 78"

LOL yea, good point, I mean, who would want stupid Tom Brady when you can have Jon Kitna, right? Is that what you're trying to say? Because I'd take Brady's couple of bad games every now and then for Kitna's ability to clutch defeat from the jaws of victory.

And for the people who say it's Millen's fault, I agree.

Millen probably had a hand in bringing Jon Kitna here, and Kitna sucks. So it's right on par with Millen and his leadership.

It isn,t Kitnas Fault ,I agree 100% on your remark there.Where we should First look is at the Upper management,Millen of course, Then THE F O R D'S They have to give up the Team and stop overriding every little thing that the Lions Do. But we know that isn't going to happen Samething year after year!!! Williams is a Great reciever He just has to stop being a T.O and StopPredicting on how he is going to burn the safety,s On the opposing teams. Just do your Job. Kitna is a Good Q.B But the spirit of the lions aren't there. Hope You enjoy watching your Team from the booth Mr. Ford and stop giving that look that says, Duhhhh, Why aren't we winning.

The problem with The Lions isn't Kitna. Like you said above, it's Matt Millen.
He's the WORST GM in the history of the NFL!
I have no idea how he still has a job. He obviously took too many steroids and too many shots to his head when he played. (And he wasn't even that good of a player)

For the Lions it is a little bit of everything, it is the O line, the WRs, the Defense...I tend to agree with you, Kitna is not the problem, nor is the coaching staff.....the true problem and constant over the last 10 years is....MATT MILLIAN>>>> How has this guy kept his job??

Fire Matt Millen, scrap the west coast offense, and practice the foundementals. The reason Harrington looked so bad was his receivers couldn't catch a cold. Run & shoot all the way!

Mike and Mike in the Morning on ESPN put up an interesting stat today. The Lions' record since Matt Millen took over as team president? 24-70! They've changed coordinators, QBs, WRs, defenses, head coaches ...but one constant remains.

23-70 - even worse ..thanks JohnnyDrama.

Kitna's a beast...3rd in the NFL in passing yardage right now

my theory is that if the Lions had a new GM, they could be a playoff team

GET RID OF MATT MILLEN!!!

Kitna is doing his best in a difficult situation. Millen needs to go.

Kitna is horrible, He sucked at Cinci and he will not be great for your sqaud now, but I think if you sure up the d a little and get a few lineman or a new Line coach and Draft a Stud he can help a new guy into a more futuristic type role.
