T_T My earthsci book is away!!

Fine gravel, small rock, humus, clay, gravel are to be put in a jar. It will be filled with water... After shaking, what are the layers formed *** how are these arrange from bottom to top?

If you wouldn't mind, please explain =3

Rock on bottom, gravel next, humus next, then clay. The finer the particle, the longer it would stay in suspension and thus the longer it would take to settle out.

finer stuff on top , heavier stuff on the bottom.
-small rock, gravel, fine gravel, clay and humus floating on the top.
the heavier stuff will sink first then , the lighter stuff, the clay is the last to sink depending on the size of the particles and humus being organic(ex living stuff.) is lighter than water , will float.

well the heavy stuff should fall first then the lighter and so on
