Have you ever put out some serious cash on one of those totally outrageously expensive luxe night creams to find out that they were in fact not as good as the one you were previously using that was none over 75$?? I have! Just wondering whether or not I was alone! : )

i have many times so now before buying something i try the tester esp after getting an allergic reaction to a facial moisturizer
i also go read reviews in magazines and sites to get ideas about which are worth buying since there are many products to choose from. choosing the right cosmetics is hard at times .
if you're going to a dermatologist or know one they can help you choose . i sometimes do that as well as research .

Oh yeah..Once I thought I was just gonna die if I didn't get the really expensive Revive Moisturizer. Almost 395$ (If I can Remember) Used the entire jar, and discover it was mediocre to the Clarins (80$) one I had previously been using. What a waste!!!!

No you are not alone! I ended up going back to basic old sorbeline cream that actually works quite well for me. I felt like a sucker for paying nearly $100 on a jar of moisturiser that didn't make my skin feel soft and refreshed at all.

I've never spent more than $25 for any face cream. I've recently started using Olay Definity, and I love it.

Out of curiosity, what cream was it that you didn't like so much, and which are you using now that you do like?

I have always used cheap ones and find I cannot find a good one, I thought to try the higher end, now I am just not sure
they seem to have same ingredient but high end may have a higher amount?
