Because then Tuesday would be the new Monday. Whatever the first working day of the week is is going to be bad. Unless perhaps it's a Friday and you only work that one day - now that I could cope with!

Because if the week starts on Tuesday, Tuesday will be a bad day instead of Monday.
Talking about Monday Blue, is it really that bad?

I was a Teachers assistant for many years, and found, that even when the school week starts on Tuesday, It still seemed like Monday!

It is not Monday that is bad but the first day of work made it bad so there is no difference whether it is Monday or Tuesday or even Wednesday

I actually like mondays better than tuesdays.. on monday I'm still feeling rested and rejuvinated from the weekend.. but by tuesday, I'm feeling like crap AND I still have a long work week ahead of me! tuesdays are the worst!

It's nothing personal against Mondays, it's the back to the same old after having two days off, it wouldn't matter what day it is. If you were on vacation that Monday, you would say." hey, I still have a week off!!!"

if we started it on tuesday, then wouldnt tuesday be just like a monday, therfore, making it just as bad
its not refering to the day of the week its refering to just getting off the weekend
tuesday would be just another monday
