Left wing politics is socialist, where the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. You create a better society by making sure that no-one in that society has to go without. By looking after the whole populace you make things better for everyone.

Right wing politics involve making sure the rich get richer at the expense of the poor, giving privileges to the privileged, and being scared of people with dark skin.

The terms actually originates from the French Revolution and the seating arrangements of the French Revolutionary Parliament. The further to the left you sat the madder they were.

the left wing is varying degrees of socialism. With communism at the extreme left.
This is an ideology that believes the state should have overall control of the country.Generally taxes will be higher in order to fund heavy public spending. The left is traditionally tolerant of immigration and usually opposed military action. The left traditionally supports the ne'er-do-wells at the expense of the achievers.

The right wing has varying degress of conservatism with fascism at the afr right.
Their ideology is for the cream to be allowed to rise. Those who are most able to succeed to be given the chance by traditionally lowering taxes in order for businesses to prosper. This in turn would allow growth of the economy. It is an ideology based on capitalism.traditionally they oppose large levels of immigration and believe in military action where necessary.

I don't know either, people don't have wings if they did they would fly. People have feet and hands though which comes in handy at times. In answer to your question left wing and right wing is in the eye of the beholder. The left tends to be more liberal, they are more constitutionalist, where the right tend to be more of an obstruction to progress. The do not believe that everybody should pay their fair share with those that have the least pay the least. Never quite understood that concept myself.

That is a good question and there is a lot of misconception.
The left wing is always socialist in origin and looks to a centralized state to govern society.
The right wing (in the true sense) always wants a de centralized state that looks more to institutions other than government to govern society.
Nazis and fascists have been mistakenly called right wing. They are not. they are actually left wing. Remember the Nazis were the "National Socialists".
Hope this helped.

At the extreme ends of the spectrum there is little difference as both become fascism.
Generally, the right concerns itself with maintaining things the way they are, are in favour of capitalism and against immigration.
The left tends to be pro equality, try different methods of economy such as collective working and co-operatives, tend to be pro trade union to protect the rights of the workforce against unfair working practices.

Left wing is government that uses taxes to take care of people.
Right wing is government that takes care of businesses.
Bush is trying to do both and putting America into record multi trillion dollar debt.
Libertarians want to reduce the size of government drastically so people and business can take care of and govern themselves.

the left wing call themselves more "liberal" even though they lack the main things to qualify as liberal, and the right call themselves "conservatives" though they have done more liberal things than the left, which they justify as being moral, usually on a global or national scale, but almost never on a personal scale because they stress personal respondsibility.
The left is much more organized, holds many rallies and protests and creates an agenda that they consider politically correct.
The right rarely has rallies or protests, and is completely decentralized. Their is no one group that sets the political agenda for the right, making their goals variable.
