dang! your over there and she's here and she needs more space than that? hummm...........could it be she isn't sure if you are truely the one, even though a part of her feels she loves you deeply?

It sounds to me that she's very confused and could possibly have her eyes on another here, even though she feels she's in love with you.

she must be very immature. it's a game, and she's the only one who really knows what game it is she's playing.

I don't understand what she means by give her space! How much further can you get if you are in Iraq. You can't be crowding her unless you are on the phone every hour. Why does she want space?

Yet she tells you she loves you more than she can explain, well if that was the case why isn't she showing you how she feels. Is she just to scared to tell you the truth ? I don't know very hard to answer this one.

Perhaps she is terrified that you will never return. (?) possibility...but!
Sounds like she is trying to make up her mind between you and someone else. It is hard to tell you to give her the space she wants, when you are a continent away!
The best you can do is to back off and let her make up her mind what or who she wants. Don't beg. Do not intimidate or try to control. Look for the subtle hints in her voice or letters or e-mails.
Sometimes when a man backs off and gives the lady space, the lady gets scared of losing him, and things work themselves out, as I hope it does for you.

Yeah, "give me space" really means, "I think the relationship is over and I'm trying to figure out a way to let you down softly". Man, you need more than that from a woman while you're over there. She obviously has no clue what you guys are doing there and has no concept of what a war is...let alone what commitment is... When you get back, find yourself some chic that gives a **** about you more than she does about herself...

Forget about her for the time being I guess. That is the only space more you can give her and still actually consider yourself liking her. I mean "if you like someone you have to stay in touch or how would you know u like?"

Well darlin I can't understand that. I have been through the awful divorce and I think anyone with a caring husband is so lucky. To have someone that cares so much is truly fantastic. You are in Iraq and doing your best for yourself and all of us and good for you and she needs to realise what a wonderful man you are. I hope it works out for you darlin and thanks for protecting us all. You're awesome xoxoxo

Wow! That doesnt really make much sense on her part, but I guess if I were you I would just not call or write to her at all. Maybe she's into someone else right now, thats what it sounds like. I dont know, but good luck!

if she wants space she is secretly seeing someone else that she likes more, seeing if that wil work out so if it doesnt she still has you. Plain and simple.
