Any motor parts shop or engineering merchant should have this stuff on the shelf.

Happy tinkering.

You should never use that for that purpose. Use some STP on the bearings, or what is known as "assembly grease or assembly lube". Either will work. Also pack the oil pump rotors inside the oil pump with some vaseline (not car grease) and you will get almost instant oil pressure on startup to help protect the crank and bearings as well.

You do NOT under any circumstances use copaslip (copper-based grease or PBC grease) on the journals of a crankshaft, or anywhere in an engine. You need special graphite-based or petroleum jelly based assembly compound. Any form of grease in an engine will carbonize, and destroy the engine by blocking oilways. Grease is not oil-soluble, and will cause mayhem in an engine.

PBC ( Poly-Butyl Cuprasil) grease is a non-seize compound that is principally used for brakes and fictures to avoid seizing and vibration.
