Its the two year old that gives it away. After a woman has children your hormones do a backflip to prepare you for chasing an active child around. More testosterone is produced sometimes having side effects such as hair around nipples, a snail trail on belly and facial hair just more noticable. Try changing your pill if your on it, if your not, get on it, and it may make a difference

Perfectly normal increase in free testosterone levels and/or decrease in estrogen levels.
You can expect this to happen and of course the nearer you get to menopause the more marked the tendency is.
Most women eventually acquire some moustache growth and some a little beard growth in later life. Nipple hair, however is common at any age from puberty onwards.

Hormonal imbalance.
Make an appointment with your doctor and he/she will have you do some blood tests to determine if there is any increase in your testosterone levels and any decrease in your estrogen.
The doctor may possibly put you on the pill to balance off your hormones.
It can be fixed so do not worry. Soon the embarrassing side-effects will be gone.
Good luck,

A few fine wispy hairs are normal and may just be due to hormone changes.
However if there are 10 or more around each nipple or the hairs are bristly, see a doctor as this may indicate polycystic ovary syndrome (this is treatable).

a lot of women have longish fine light coloured hair around their nipples.
If it gets dark it could be something like your hormones changing but apart from that i wouldnt worry about it. they advise not to pluck hair from that area though but if it worries you go to see the doctor just incase.
