i sat with my aunt on a bench by the water front,watching as the sun was about to set.what is your favourite colour she asked,i was too young to correctly state the colour,so i pointed to the sky where a lovely coral hue was spreading before darkness caught up.She was a wonderful seamstress & an even better person,imagine my delight on getting a dress for my birthday of exactly the same shade as i had pointed to her.She has long left us but i treasure the memory.

Terry Fox and his marathon of hope.....I was 10 years old when he did his run and still today 25 years later he's my hero and I cry when the annual run takes place. What a courageous young man he was!

I was new to a new school in 7th grade, very nervous bout the first day, got on the bus, no one wanted to sit w/me and then the prettiest girl w/ the best smile ever said hey sit here, I did. I am straight but I fell in love w/her and her red shoes, that was over 40 yrs. ago and we are still best friends.....
we still both have red shoes!!!! lol...

i remember when i was 16 after a big snow me and my friend and my dog found a big pile of snow and climbed up and sled down it for hours and hours that is one of my fondest memories
