Not all women feel that way, I am I am a firm believer that you should love yourself before anyone else can love you, there are many unmarried single women out there that lead very successful and happy lives, having a man can be awesome, if it is the right person for you, but it can also lead to heart ache and pain if you are with the wrong person, I'd rather be single and happy than in a miserable relationship.

Being free of a man is definately O.K. It is a good thing to learn who you are and what you want YOUR life to be before getting into a relationship. As far as playing, that is up to you and your moral standards, no one else can make that decision for you, just use protection and know your partner. Regularly have an AIDS test along with a Clamydia test and any others your GYNO. would recommend. I do not mean just at your yearly, I mean like monthly because some diseases can cause infertility and death so the earlier that you know the better!

It depends on what kind of woman you are...
Women can be categorized in two classifications ::
1. A strong woman
2. A woman of strength
These two sounds the same but have very different meanings
If you are a strong woman you can think about living alone and ask the question like you have asked.
But a woman of strength will care of nothing, and will spent her life in her own way, leading it in her own style. Without being concerned about any man.
You are a Strong women. you will need a man in future terms :)
Godd Luck !!!
It was a nice question !!

Mostly it's because they r afraid to be alone. To many women having a man around gives them a sense of security. But, you don't have to have a man around just to be happy, if you can't be happy with just yourself, then it will be even harder to be happy with a man. You must first learn to love yourself, before you can love someone else.

Not all women feel this way. I am married; but single, I had a blast being alone. It is fine for a woman not to feel that she has to have a man to be happy. That is one of the things I am instilling in my daughter.

if they feel they have to have a man in their life then they must be weak and insecure due to some kind of trauma in their childhood, but if they can get along without being attached to one man,I say go for it and good luck with your happiness, just make sure if you are not gonna be commited to one guy, that he knows that up front, and make sure you are legally single before any of this is attempted.

Some women just feel like they need to be in a "committed relationship" following a long term marriage. I guess it provides security to them. The relationship permits them to remain in the same circle of friends (married couples) that they were accustomed to while being married.

I think that men and women are happiest in the long run when they have a happy loving family. In the short-medium term, you should be happy on your own, but its not unreasonable to want these things.

There is NO rule or law, written or un, that says a woman need have a man in her life...many desire it, but for those that don't desire it or just don't have it, that's perfectly fine...
People can have fabulously happy lives with or without a romantic partner...our lives are what we make them, one shouldn't rely on someone else to bring them happiness...no one can make us happy but ourselves...
