I've been interested in astral projection for years. I managed to succeed twice, and had a bad experience the second time because I wasn't ready to be there just yet. my superiors tell me to not think about it and "just do it" but that's easier said than done. in reality I found that if you sit or lie down in a comfortable position, breathe in and out slowly and focus entirely on every breath you take, or your heart beat, and use that to drown out all of your thoughts, then eventually the body will fall asleep, and the mind, being aware, will separate. at least that's how I managed to do it before.
I must warn that you first be sure you are disciplined mentally before attempting this, lest you fall victim to your inner demons, as I did. I was so afraid of my experience it took me years to gather the courage to try again. practice conentration, visualization, relaxation, and energy control exercises thoroughly before attempting projection. if you have any more questions, email me, and I'd be happy to help
