No one! No one ever wins a war.

Oh! Wait a minute did you think someone was going to win?

Sorry. Doesn't happen.

Thank you very much, while you're up

I agree with Ruth.

I would not expect the United States to pull out anytime soon. The advice of the ISG will be pretty much ignored, which it should be. While there was some truth in the report as to the situation in Iraq it's recommendations amount to a backdoor surrender. The president has already signaled pretty strongly that while he supports the idea of new strategies that he is not happy with the reports finding especially in the idea that we should negotiate with Iran and Syria. I agree with the president on this. In what rational mindset do you look at a war on terror and then recommend enlisting the 2 biggest sponsors of terror on the planet? Iraq is now part of the war on terror. While people can make the case one way or the other that Iraq was not engaged with terrorists before the war it cannot be denied that there are now terrorists there now and that we are fighting them.

I doubt that the E.U. will strengthen some thing that is composed of helping all persons outdoors of the E.U. preserving troops interior the middle east will be mandatory, for destiny years, no matter if that is on land or only aboard ships, the troops will be there. The deliver option is sensible from this attitude, they're a miles smaller objective with an entire fleet there to save them out of harms way. Plus, even as they're out of sight, they are not raising the ire of the arabs. that is a small situation that favor not be addressed till we are able to withdraw. The political climate on the prompt, ought to really help ensure the subsequent logical bypass, for our troops.

If the US pulls out of Iraq, before the situation is stable, radical Islam (whatever the stripe) will win.

The rest of the world will lose.

The same bunch of sand monkeys that have been fighting for 200 years. We were concerned about our oil supply. It is shameful that we have had over 2000 men and women die. I hope that we see the error and remove our people immediately. Egos be dammed.
