I need gift ideas and not from adult suggestions please unless they are more original than computers, X box, Playstations or similar gifts. I really want to do good for my son who will be with his dad this year. His dad has tons of money I don't. Thanks.

What do kids like more than themselves?...if you have the time, why not do a great "scrapbook" that is all about him?...bet you anything in years to come it will mean more to him than rich daddys gift...it will take some time and thought, but he will know that even now...and even more later....don't worry mom, even w/kids $ isn't everything...you can't out do dad with money, but I bet you can do better with thought....hey merry christmas.

I think a memorable day out with you should be good enough, you can go to places of his interest and have some pictures of you two together that he could show his dad ... and then you can end it up with dinner at his favourite place and then you can give him a lets say something to remind him of you, a framed picture of you two and lets say a guys bracelet would really make him happy.

Ask him what else do he likes besides Video games. Maybe he likes tradeing cards, nerd guns , water guns, money (20$ bills work great)
