I did 3 years of 6 years medical course in Russia due some reasons I didn't complete it. Please tell me if continuing my medical course in under-developed country like Russia is better or to start with a new course like nursing, health science in a developed country is better?

As one of my fellow posters here as so wisely stated, it is imperative that you have an overwhelming, passionate and unyielding desire to practice medicine in the first place, which then renders this question in some ways rather superfluous.

Nursing and the practice of the Medical Arts as a practicing physician are in the same profession but in many ways that is where the comparison ends abruptly. It is not likely that if you are destined to become an M.D. that nursing will loom large as an alternative. You don't become an acrobat instead of an archeologist.

I do not intend to be rude here, but the choices are yours alone to make based on your own career passions and what is nuanced into your own personal life circumstances.

Whatever you decide please know that you have my thoughts, and prayers in all of your future endeavors.

Sincerely Yours,

Michael

In my opinion this greatly depends on your current position in life. Do you have the ability to move anywhere you want to continue your education or could there be visa or financial issues to contend with. Also do you plan to stay in the area that you plan to move to or do you plan to return to Russia? This will greatly affect your final out come, as doctors in the U.S. make about $250,000/yr but in E. Europe or Russia it is not to my knowledge as much.

Also nursing school in the U.S., for example, is not your only option. There are programs called physician's assistant (PA), nurse practitioner (NP), and nurse anesthesiologist (NA); all of which are in high demand and do not come with the personal liability associated with having a private practice in the U.S. This may or may not be a profession that is available where you are located, but do some research before giving up on your goals.

All medical/professional schools are very difficult, just make sure you are doing it for the right reason's and that it is what YOU want. You have to WANT IT!!!

Continue with your medical course, unless your finding it tough. You could also try for some online tutoring
