Many couples trying to get pregnant look at sexual intercourse as a means to an end. This means that sometimes the basics can get pushed aside or often ignored in favor of clocks, calendars and other schedules. Sometimes foreplay seems forced when you're making love to a calendar.
It's easy to see why the male orgasm is important. Obviously you need to have the man ejaculate to get the semen to find the sperm to hunt the egg to impregnate the woman. But why does it matter if she enjoys herself too?
The physiology behind the female orgasm is simple. When a woman has an orgasm her cervix, the mouth of the uterus, contracts as the uterus moves. This causes the uterus to dip or bob into the vagina. If the male has already had an orgasm, then this area is rich in semen (sperm). This motion of the cervix will actually draw the semen into the cervix and uterus to aid in it's passage towards the ripe egg.
If you usually include orgasm as a part of your foreplay, it still belongs there too. An orgasm prior to male ejaculation can help make the sex more pleasurable, the vagina more lubricated and make the whole scene much less clinical. However, for reasons stated above, if she does not have an orgasm after the male's then it is imperative for her to acheive one. It does not matter if this orgasm is via masturbation (self or partner lead). It simply needs to occur to improve the chances of pregnancy.

When penis enters vagina, if both man and woman are reasonably healthy, the woman will get pregnant if it takes place during her ovolution time.
It has nothing to do with the girl having an orgasm. It is a beautiful way to make baby -yes - when both have orgasm. But that has nothing to do with NOT getting preggy. What you have read is not even partially true. If your guy told you that, he is selling you a bill of goods just to have sex with you. Don't believe him.
Be careful out there, honey.

An orgasm has nothing to do with getting pregnant. Do you know how many women fake orgasms or dn't even have orgasms that get pregnant, a lot. Don't believe everything that people tell you.

having an orgasm has nothing to do with getting pregnant or not. If you dont want to get pregnant, then you should use some kind of birth control, and the guy should always be wearing a condomn anyway. unless you are married to him, and he has benn checked out completely

Yes, and yes she can. Orgasms have nothing to do with an egg and sperm uniting and implanting; that's what pregnancy is. A girl can even get pregnant without ever having intercourse, if sperm gets in and finds an egg. Sperm moves independently after ejaculation. So even close can be close enough.

Now as far as i remember my biology. Pregnancy occurs when the guys sperm fertilises a womans egg. The sperm is released during male orgasm, into the woman. The sperm swims off and is happy when it forces itself into an egg. All the others arent so happy when they die.
Female orgasm feels good, releases endorphins and other hormones and makes conception more likely and the girl very happy.
So i believe the answer is 'duh, yes'
