what can i dress up as?

my school is having a fancy dress day next week and i don't know what to go as. i'm 5'5 with long dark hair i need a simpl easy costume any ideas?

keep in mind guys i have to walk round school all day in it. we're trying to raise money for the school

You would make a cute reindeer. Antlers are for sell inexpensively everywhere, a brown dress with a wide red ribbon for a belt (the reins) , if you have a red clown nose around that would be great, and pin on a sprig of pine or holly. Whatever your choice, have fun.

Light weight leggins or heavy tights, a very short skirt or a long jacket and with a hat you will be Dandinii! At 5' 5" you will have good legs, show them off! I'm female and 5' 3" so not too way off. Mind you at 50 plus I'm a bit older - used to do this stuff, though. Always used the charity shops and kept my mind open - had some really good outfits - just go out and enjoy a bit of cheap shopping - your are also helping the charity shop as well as your school.

For Halloween I recently threw together this very cheap costume-and won a prize!
I wore some brightly coloured tights,ankle boots,a binbag cut into a dress which I had splattered glitter glue on,I ratted my hair and put clips-making part of my hair fall over my left eye,outlandish makeup,mismatched long,chunky earrings,and some garish scarves-I told people I was Paris fashion! The only thing I bought was the garish scarves from a charity shop-they were only 10p each!

Cat woman. Brunettes are great at this. Wear all black tight clothing if you can - maybe a leather looking top? a tail, dark eye make up, and cat ears. If you're more daring you could go for a cat suit, or the halle berry style cat woman.

Or a pirate! I do that at fancy dress parties - get to have alot of fun then.

Is it fancy dress day or costume day? Try this. Go as a 50s teen with poodle skirt and sweater and a ponytail. Or as a 70s with bell bottom pants, platform shoes, and psychedelic colored shirt.

A simple black dress works great for any dress up occasion. The simpler the better because it can be used later for dinners, dances, business gatherings, etc. Dressed in black you can wear a gauzy black veil and go as a widow in mourning. Worked well in the Bride of Frankenstein! Hope you enjoy your dance!

wear a black leotard and sparkally or opaque tights with high heels: have a line round your waist as if to say heres the sawing in half line!

get a man/boy to dress up with you as the magician (he could be your date!

Go to the Salvation Army ,and get a long evening gown, they always have real over-the-top fancy ones. And they are only about $5.00!!
