It always does.
The ticket prices will soar in the big market cities and it also affects the market for Caps, t-shirts, jerseys etc because the right will go up as well. For a family of four to attend a baseball game and have decent tickets you're looking at $400 and that doesn't include transportation, food or drinks. It's getting ridiculous pretty soon the only place you will see a baseball game will be pay per view.

Very true but I don't think the fans can blame the Yankees this time. Boston and the Cubs jumped off the starting line this fall and created the atmosphere for the winter meetings. The Yankees just watched for awhile to see what would happen. Ultimately we will all pay the price for this madness. Maybe we should consider going to more minor league games. It's a lot of fun and one tenth the cost. I did kind of chuckle when I read this morning that Matsuzaka might dump the Red Sox.

The Cardinals handed my wildest expectancies this 12 months. We were education an outfielder to play 2d base (bypass Schumaker) We had no third baseman Glaus replaced into meant to be lower back by mid ought to, he nevertheless can't play. i did not imagine Khalil eco-friendly replaced into the answer at shortstop. he replaced right into a large flop. The pitching replaced right into a question mark. How lengthy will chippie delay. We no shown closer contained in the bullpen. yet some gamers more desirable and the Cardinals eager to commerce some opportunities to get Holliday and DeRosa. The purple Sox gave us Lugo and Smoltz for no longer something and they are nevertheless paying their salaries. i'm very overjoyed. Now we purely ought to signal vacation and DeRosa because they're free brokers after this 12 months.

The best baseball you can watch is a Little League Game. Unless you have some restraining order against you, check out a kids game for 10 minutes. Most fun you'll ever have watching baseball. Doesnt cost a penny

it doesnt cost me a thing. well maybe a few dollars. i only go to one or two games a year. just because the owners think someone is worth 1/4 billion dollars doesnt mean they are. my protest is watching basically for free from home where the beer is infinitely cheaper and the hot dog cost 25 cents apiece. the experience isnt the same, but all in all, it aint that bad.

And do you realize that the main culprit is Scott Boras?
You cannot blame the red sox or cubs for spending money, when he demands more than his clients are worth.
And do you realize you that the sun doesn't go down?
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning 'round.

its all the agents fault. its not the players or the owners its the agents. there are very undeserving players getting millions to produce minimal numbers because the agents are masters of their art selling defunct product. they want to make money. there are amazing players getting paid minimal salaries who dont renegotiate even though they deserve the money, because theyre there for the love of the game. Screw agents.
