Better uninstall it and get the free AVG 7.5:

Here are some security tips you may need:
1.Never use more than one anti-virus or firewall. There is a good possibility that they will fight each other. However, you can use as many anti-spywares as you wish.
2.Always keep the real time scanning/resident shield of your anti-virus and any one of your anti-spyware active, especially while downloading something from file sharing networks.
3.Keep all your security software updated, and scan your computer for spyware every 1 week and for viruses every 2 weeks.

I have Norton internet safe practices bundled with my BT Yahoo broadband kit, and that i actually have the loose A-squared anti-virus programme (even had AVG till presently). i have had no issues updating and operating both programme, although i does not run both at the same time - slows pc right down to a move slowly even as scanning. So try it and word. Or, somewhat than uninstalling, disable Norton even as attempting Avast. you should set a restoration element previously you do any ameliorations. As My Brainhurt has warned: sparkling out any quarantined nasties first.
