like with any other toners, wet a cotton pad with the toner and wipe your face using upward strokes.

If you want to help your pores you need a few products: First: scrub your face with St. Ives Apricot Scrub (Use the one for pimples/oily skin - better exfoliating) Then, wash your face with Clinique Pore Minimizer Thermal-Active Skin Refiner Once a week follow with a mud/clay mask (until it's dry). I use the basic mud packs from Boots or Superdrug. Then follow with a Retin-A lotion (for instance, Roc or I use L'Oreal Revitalift cream or double lifting lotion - thought I'm only 30). This allows for skin renewal and also if you use the Revitalift, tightens the skin. Top it all off with Clinique pore minimizer lotion. This should help at least reduce the look of the pores. Yes, I believe it works and it doesn't cost that much for the pore lotion. I have great skin at 30 as I am a firm believer in products. Clinique's lotion is good as it doesn't hurt either, though the thermal active cleanser will be warm on the face. Ask for a sample.
