I got a pack of hairbands and in it was an Alice Band, I think it looks ok but Im not sure if it so out of date that it just shouldn't be done?

Alice bands are great! They have been revamped and are back in style. You can go for the new elastic kind worn with your hair up or down or go for the old plastic kind worn with your hair down.

Not that it carries much weight on the fashion front, I know mechanics that use them.
If the practicality outweighs the design then its cool.
I have seen a worrying number of young men wearing them now. Usually around the beach. So it definately seems there's somewhat of a revival going on.
An if you keep them for long enough you know they'll be back for gals to.

No, Alice bands are well and truely back in fashion. Kate Moss was recently photographed with one on as was Paris Hilton.

Umm.... alice bands are kinda like the height of fashion at the moment. I wear one pretty much with every outfit. They're just really cute. You should definitely wear them!

I still wear them; they are practical. They're not necessarily "in fashion" but if you wear a classic colour like black, or a classic design, like tortoiseshell, you're never going to be "out of fashion." Just be careful, as some can be too tight and give you a headache.

yeah course they r ok! i'm wearing one now- very fashionable and cute and if you get hot you can sweep your hair under it!
it breaks up your hair and gives it a prettyness when it's down and when it's up even better!

no, they are still good, just make sure you wear it with the right outfit! besides wear what you liek dont worry about what everyone else thinks, do it for you!!
