Yes ,it is possible for your heart rate to speed up when you take your own pulse. I have the same problem myself. There are times when I have to take my blood pressure and pulse several times before I can obtain what is considered a normal reading. I have to get myself to relax which is hard for me to accomplish because I have a type "A" personality.

Probably wouldnt make the grade and besides the cops would easily catch me with the amount of times i stall the car engine.

Depends on situation. I think I could kill someone. Eventualy. But it might be that I just think that way and that I really don't have stomach for it.

i actually wnated to be a professional hit man while in high school. i guess that's why i joined the military. its not my dream job, but i am sure one day it will be. maybe the secret service ringing my door bell anyday now.

I probably wound't be able to do it when it came down to it. Although I'd love the whole idea of it, I just wouldn't be able to kill another person.

I would not be a good candidate (unless somehow I got my gun sights on Osama or Sadam). I don't even like killing bugs.
