I assume that you are using 'Word'. So, go to 'Tools' and you will get a list. Choose 'Envelopes and labels'. But! before you do this, highlight the address that you want to print on to the envelope.
Your printer should have a 'paper gauge' to let you know where to put the envelope in to the printer - and 'voila!' one printed envelope.
I have to admit that the first time that I tried it, not only did I not know that you had to highlight the address, the printer actually told me to put the envelope up the wrong way! This was quite a few years ago and I seem to have got it right, now.
You can also have your return address printed on the top left hand corner of the envelope if you wish - you will see that there is a little box to check if your decide you do or don't want this in.
Another alternative is to use 'mail merge' to print labels from a data base. That one takes a little longer to explain!

Your printer tray should have guidance grooves in it that show how an envelope should be inserted into the tray. You can then set Microsoft Word page setup to the dimensions of the envelope.
After you do this, type the address in the document, zoom out to about 50% so you can see the full view of the envelope.
When you are happy with the position of the address, click print and make sure the printer properties are set to envelope. i.e. click File > Print and click Properties and choose the size of envelope to print on (change paper size from A4 to the envelope size)
When you are happy with the settings, click OK to print the envelope.
Be careful because some envelopes are prone to smudging, so it may take a few attempts.

if you use microsoft word, you can open a new document and choose letter as the document. you can then adjust your printer to take envelopes. usually just sliding the paper size marker along on the printer. Usually on modern printers and computers it should work it all out after just selecting those paramiters.

If you're using microsoft word, you can use the "envelopes and labels" option to set envelope sizes and location of address.

you do not ought to do some thing as drastic as replacing printers. only make confident that your modern one is nice and sparkling with techniques from before each and everything cleansing printer heads and then only utilising a moist fabric to wipe the cartridge and sheet feeder parts to make confident they're sparkling and loose from extra ink.
