Man Utd have a fanbase of 40million. So if only 20% come from manchester then there are many many times more Man Utd fans in Manchester than there are people actually living there.

As for worst fans i have to agree its Chelsea followed by Arsenal.

Man Utd have a great fanbase and the fact we fill our stadium every game and have done for many many years proves this beyond doubt.

Best fans have to be Newcastle because they just keep hoping and preying they might win something. Of course they wont but they have my respectas fans not a club.

Certain sections of the support at Milwall, Birmingham, West Ham, Cardiff, Stoke City and Luton are probably a lot more 'vocal' than Chelsea, and areas around football stadia could testify to this!

Yes i totally agree with you, all you have to do is look at the support they had for the Charity Shield and that says it all!
And as for people saying Liverpool are the worst...You obviously have no idea what you are talking about!

No, i'd say man utd or liverpool, for similar reasons

1 - its estimated that 80% of manchester utd fans DONT live in Manchester or anywhere near it.

2 - Liverpool fans are constantly living in the past and talking about long long ago glories.

ADD - Peter, did you even read this? i dont dispute that the greater amount of people who go to the match live in manchester... would you say that who ever attends the stadium on a GIVEN match day constitutes the whole fan base? because thats what your suggesting, and what i KNOW as a FACT is that an estimated 80% on Man UTD 'fans' dont live in Manchester.
