Why can't I play yahoo spades?

I am able to sign on and then when I hit continue the whole page is gone.I am right back at my screen saver.We recently installed updated version of windows.

Try doing this;
Log on to mail 1st then go to games or use this great shortcut as is to get in any game/lounge.
Here is a easy fast way into games. And it by-passes log in problems. Go to http://www.shove-it.com find game select lounge page you want to play. Click on file, send, desk-top short cut. Or add to your favorites. This gives you a straight link to shove it. Now click on a lounge, it will take you to yahoo games log in page. Log in, then minimize log in window while its loading. Now click the lounge link again and open the log in window back up. Your in. nice thing is you can get in any lounge or game that’s full or not.

The java virtual machine doesn't do the job of getting into games very well. Change your setting to what I have been using since yahoo 1st started updates and this will work with all games!
JAVA has a small font glitch. Plus many other problems. If java is launching your games The coffee cup logo while loading. Go to start button, settings, go to control panel open internet options. advance tab, scroll down and see if msn Virtual Machine is listed, if so, unclick the 2 java listed. Make sure JIT is checked, click apply then ok. This lets micro soft virtual machine launch games. this will SPEED UP game loading time. i play games about every night with no problems using these settings. .If you turn off pop up blocker it is a mistake, it causes to many problems turned off. it is needed to block unwanted pop ups. When you try getting in lounge or room and it doesn't work. click on pop up blocker on yahoo tool bar.On the drop down list click on Always allow tab it will say recent pop ups blocked. high light yahoo.com then click allow. This is the proper way to use the pop up blocker, and in past 6 months since yahoo’s new format came out, I have never had a problem or had to hold any keys down to get in.1st thing you do when you get in lounge is check small windows in options box. Once in room make sure you expand it to see chat area. This also gets rid of the big ads. IE browser settings to allow pop ups Right click on IE icon ,properties, privacy tab, cookie over ride. Type in Yahoo.com, allow then ok.

Well there are some problems with yahoo games and do check if you have turned your pop up blocker off. you can do this by going to Tools - Pop up blocker and then turn it off, however when you want to browse websites just do the same with the last action being turn on Pop up blocker.
