Nothing wrong with asking a simple question, you guys are over sensitive.Or your just single and trying to kiss girls butts, because your too lame to just ask one out.

My daughter alwasy had trouble with math, more so than say english or socials, but she still got A's.

I am a female engineer. So I did a lot of math in college. But interestingly enough out of the 17 that graduated in my engineering class I was the only girl. I don't know that women are not good at math but merely tend to shy away from fields that are male dominated. I think sometimes our pregidous can get in the way. But on a whole I would say that men tend to be more logical and analytical. Where as women tend to be more intuitive and creative. There are many men that are creative and women that are logical, not saying there aren't.

SOME girls don't do well in math. Some GUYS don't do well in math. Girls seem to do better in math if they are separated into an all female class, and if they have a good teacher and if they are good students. Time for old stereotypes to die.

In England girls score higher than boys not only in math, but every single subject. Boys are currently making grades that girls were achieving seven years ago. Only 45 per cent of boys achieved five good exam passes this year compared to 59 per cent of girls.

I have heard that as well, but I was definitely not the norm. I made A's in math as well. I made A's in mostly everything.

It is funny that no one really knows who "they" are but "they" always have an opinion on something.

studies have shown that girls do just as well at math as boys, girls in all girls schools were looked at there is abook people should read its called "Failing At Fairness".

its about how schools cheat girls and are conditioning girls to believe they are not as good at subjects as boys and that teachers without even KNOWING it are perpetrating this myth and allowing it to be self fullfilling for some girls, its abit old but not too much has changed and they may have a new up to date volume out now

I don't know but usually, the women do the finances for a family, and they're usually naturally business-minded... So I suppose they're good in maths if they can run a family and a good business.
