well yeah...dual layer or DL drives which are able to burn dual layer discs....ones wit two layers and over 9 gb of space i would say to ceck if ur drive is compatible by ceckin ur model number in device manager and doing a google search to find more info
and yes most of the dvd drives sold today are dl compatible but then agn u may jus not kno.....happy burnin lol if u want to burn a dl disc get sum software like nero or sonic

You are talking about Blue Ray disks, right?

Yipper.

You need the special dvd writer. But it is also downward compatible meaning the regular 4.7G can be written with this special DVD writer.
